About

Built from a real training notebook, not a generic database.

Fitness Routine Builder started the way most useful tools do, out of frustration with the alternative. Jennifer, a working isometric time-under-tension instructor, kept her entire teaching method in a handwritten notebook: which moves went together, which springs and positions to use, how to sequence a class so it built through the body in the right order. It worked, but it lived in one notebook, in one bag, and every new trainer had to learn it by watching her or asking questions between classes.

This tool is that notebook, rebuilt as something a whole team of trainers can actually use. Every move in the library, the setup, the spring, the coaching cue, comes from real teaching experience, not a stock exercise database. Nothing in here is generic.

“I built this from my own training notebook because I was tired of flipping through handwritten pages between classes. Every move in here is one I teach myself, written the way I actually cue it.”

Who it’s for

This is built for instructors who plan real classes for real people, not for browsing a library of workouts to do alone. It’s meant to sit in a trainer’s pocket the same way that notebook once did, quick to reference, quick to build from, and honest about what actually works in a session.

Newer trainers get a full library of moves with real coaching notes attached, so they’re not starting from a blank page. Studio owners get a way to keep every trainer teaching from the same well-tested material, so a class feels consistent no matter who’s running it that day.

What we believe

A good class is built, not generated. That’s why this tool leans on a real move library and a trainer’s own judgment rather than trying to auto-write a class for you. The goal has always been to remove the busywork, digging for a routine, retyping the same list every week, without removing the instructor from the decision.
